I'm so excited to announce the Feast & Flow is live and very much kicking! After an amazing launch event on the 15th January 2017 we are already brimming with ideas for the next one, two, three and MORE!
For all those who aren't sure what Feast & Flow is all about or whether it is for them I've included a summary below as well as just a handful of reasons why it is for everyone!
IN A NUTSHELL
Feast & Flow is the brand new Yoga Brunch collaboration designed to nourish and restore body and mind. The brainchild of Stephanie Sowden, founder of MIMOD’s Kitchen and me, Sarah Eckersley, this collaboration is brimming with personal touches and positive vibes.
Launched in January 2017, Feast & Flow offers yogis, foodies and anyone who wants to try something new a themed yoga brunch across London each month. Those who attend get to enjoy a 90-minute dynamic yoga class before a delicious two course plant based brunch. Each month adopts a different theme to ensure that all the beautiful guests that attend feel truly spoiled and nourished from head to toe.
MIMOD’s Kitchen was created by Stephanie following her love of breakfast and firm belief that our daily morning meal deserves to be a form of cuisine in its own right. It is of little surprise therefore that MIMOD’s stands for Most Important Meal of the Day. Her menus are inspired by the healthy, plant based lifestyle commonly found in Bondi, Australia for it was here that Stephanie’s passion for raw food and decision to launch MIMOD’S was really born. Since returning to the UK she has hosted a number of MIMOD’s Kitchen pop-up brunches and dinners all of which have been a sell-out. Each month she creates a menu dedicated to the theme of Feast & Flow as well as the time of year, what's in season and what's going to best nourish the body.
That's where I come in! My aim is to help people find space in both body and mind during their time on the mat. After leaving a stressful career behind to embark on this health and wellbeing venture this ethos is super close to my heart. By combining a blend of vinyasa flow and more grounding postures attendees are able to work their way through a blend of poses to strengthen and tone their whole body ensuring they feel well worked yet totally zenned out. Based on my belief that yoga is and should be accessible to everyone, I build my classes to be challenging yet suitable for all levels. I also incorporate an element of mindfulness throughout, encouraging people to journey deeper within themselves and achieve some head space – something all of us could do with.
IS FEAST & FLOW FOR YOU?
Yeeeeeeeees! Feast & Flow is designed to nourish body, mind and soul - who doesn't need some of that these days? The yoga sequences are designed to work the body and help reconnect you with yourself whilst the food tops you up with much needed nutrients and goodness in a delicious way.
What is more, we provide beautiful goody bags for everyone to take away, allowing guests to maintain their goodness post-event. We have been lucky enough to work with a number of awesome brands including:
Sibberi Tree Water
Husk & Honey Granola
The Gift of Oil
We also include a different nut butter hand made by MIMOD'S Kitchen as well as a recipe card so that you can recreate some of the yummy goodness at home,
